The App or Site Is Freezing or Crashing

If Sparkk TV freezes, becomes unresponsive, or crashes, the issue is usually related to your browser, device, or cached data rather than the platform itself.

Most stability issues can be resolved with the steps below.

Start with a refresh

Quick fixes that solve most crashes.

Begin with these steps:

  • Refresh the page

  • Close and reopen your browser or app

  • Restart your device

Temporary glitches often resolve after a restart.

Clear cached data

Outdated data can cause layout or stability issues.

If problems continue:

  • Clear your browser’s cache and cookies

  • Reload Sparkk TV after clearing data

Cached files can become outdated and interfere with page loading or playback.

Check browser and OS updates

Stay current.

Freezing or crashing can occur if:

  • Your browser is out of date

  • Your operating system hasn’t been updated

Make sure you’re using the latest version of your browser and OS for the best performance.

Disable extensions or add-ons

Common sources of conflict.

Browser extensions — especially ad blockers, privacy tools, or script blockers — can interfere with site behavior.

Issues with the Sparkk TV PWA

When using Add to Home Screen.

If you’re using Sparkk TV as a Progressive Web App (PWA):

  • Reopen sparkk.tv in your browser

  • Add it to your home screen again
