Watching on Roku and Other Platforms

Current limitations and future support.

Sparkk TV is designed as a browser-first service. At this time, Sparkk TV does not offer dedicated native apps for certain TV platforms, including Roku.

You can still watch Sparkk TV on these platforms using casting or screen mirroring.

Roku support

What’s available today.

Sparkk TV does not currently have a native Roku app.

However, you can watch on Roku by:

  • Using AirPlay from an iPhone, iPad, or Mac

  • Casting from Chrome or an Android device

  • Using screen mirroring from a compatible device

These methods provide full access to the Sparkk TV library.

Other platforms without native apps

Setting expectations.

At this time, Sparkk TV does not offer dedicated native apps for:

  • Apple TV

  • Android TV / Google TV

  • Game consoles

Browser-based playback and casting provide access on these platforms without additional installs.

Why Sparkk TV uses a browser-first approach

Flexibility and accessibility.

Sparkk TV’s platform design allows:

  • Faster updates without app store approvals

  • Broader device compatibility

  • Lower setup friction for viewers

This approach ensures the platform works across more devices today.

Future platform support

What to expect.

Sparkk TV continues to evaluate platform support based on:

  • Viewer demand

  • Platform requirements

  • Performance considerations

While native apps are not currently available, support for additional platforms may be considered in the future.

What won’t change

Consistent access.

Regardless of platform:

  • All content remains free to watch

  • No subscription is required

  • Casting provides full viewing access

Browser-based access ensures continuity across devices.
